01Purpose and legal status
This policy records the commercial-risk position of Ident Group Ltd, trading as Ident.ink, on gambling-related use and relationships. It is an eligibility policy, not a court judgment, regulatory finding or statement that any named person or organisation has committed an offence.
Mandatory law, consumer rights and an existing signed agreement take priority where they cannot lawfully be varied by this policy. This document does not create an automatic fine, payment charge, forfeiture or right to retain customer funds.
02Rainbet decision
From 5 September 2026, Ident.ink will not knowingly onboard Rainbet, enter a new commercial relationship with Rainbet, or provide Ident.ink services or infrastructure for operations directed by Rainbet.
The decision follows a company risk review informed by third-party reporting and the founder's previously stated concerns. Ident Group has not independently adjudicated every allegation in that reporting and does not present the linked material as a legal finding.
03Connected organisations
Ident Group will not begin a new partnership, sponsorship, promotional arrangement or comparable commercial collaboration with an organisation that maintains an active commercial relationship with Rainbet. Existing commercial relationships are reviewed individually and may be restricted, suspended or ended only where the governing agreement and law permit.
A confirmed organisation may be asked to end its Rainbet relationship as a condition of future Ident eligibility. Ordinary use by an individual customer, incidental references, personal employment, or an interest held through a diversified investment fund does not by itself establish a prohibited commercial relationship.
04Evidence and human review
Ident does not impose an account or partnership outcome from a keyword match, social-media post or automated detector alone. A suitably authorised person must review the identity of the organisation, the nature and current status of the relationship, reliable evidence, contractual limits and likely effect on affected users.
Ident may request a proportionate disclosure or supporting evidence. Deliberately false or materially incomplete information may be handled under the applicable Terms, but any response must remain proportionate and lawful.
- Record the evidence and the person making the decision.
- Give notice and a meaningful opportunity to respond unless an urgent temporary restriction is necessary to control an immediate risk.
- Use the least disruptive effective measure and preserve lawful data-access, export and complaint rights.
- Record the reason, scope, start date and review date for any restriction.
05Available actions
After review, Ident may refuse a new partnership, decline a new activation, limit the affected commercial use, require remediation, or suspend or terminate a relationship where the applicable agreement and law allow it. Effective immediately means this policy applies to decisions from 5 September 2026; it does not erase existing contracts or mandatory legal duties.
Ident will not use this policy to charge a payment method without authorisation, seize an unrelated balance, fabricate a debt, or delete customer material contrary to the applicable agreement, retention notice or law. Refunds, credits and outstanding charges remain governed by the payment terms and mandatory rights.
06General gambling standards
Separate from the Rainbet decision, Ident.ink may refuse or restrict use connected with unlawful or unlicensed gambling, promotion directed at children, deceptive claims, evasion of geographic or age controls, manipulation of withdrawals or bonuses, or conduct that creates an unacceptable legal, safeguarding, payment or reputational risk.
Lawful gambling-related organisations are not automatically approved. Availability depends on jurisdiction, licensing evidence, intended use, payment-provider rules, safeguarding controls and Ident's risk appetite.
07Notice, challenge and appeal
An affected account or organisation may challenge factual accuracy, provide evidence that a relationship ended, explain the scope of an arrangement, or ask for a decision to be reviewed. Appeals are handled by a person who was not solely responsible for the original decision where reasonably possible.
Use Ident.ink Support and select a legal or policy issue. Include the account or organisation, the decision being challenged and non-sensitive supporting evidence. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details or authentication secrets.
08Policy review and changes
Ident will review this position when material reliable evidence, regulatory action, contractual obligations or relevant law changes. A revised policy will state its effective date. Material changes affecting an existing contract will be notified where the contract or law requires notice.
The founder may state a company position, but operational enforcement still requires the authority, records and safeguards described in this policy.
Published by Ident Group Ltd. This policy governs Ident's own commercial eligibility decisions. It is not legal advice, a criminal allegation or a substitute for a regulator or court.
