IDENT.INK EXPLAINED

Your online identity, connected.

A detailed guide to the Ident.ink platform, what it does, who it serves and how its identity, website, brand and trust tools fit together.

What is Ident.ink?

Ident.ink is an online identity platform. It gives a person, project, company, community, product, creator or esports organisation one controlled record for its public presence. That record can power a website, identity page, link hub, press information, brand assets, team access and publishing workflow.

Online identity pages and websites

The Web Studio lets an account create, edit and publish websites, portfolios, bio-link pages and project identity pages. Projects can manage copy, navigation, calls to action, social links, design settings, forms and publishing from the same dashboard.

Brand kits and launch assets

A project can keep colours, logos, banners, contact details, social profiles and calls to action together. Ident.ink uses that information to organise QR codes, press material, social assets and downloadable launch kits without repeatedly rebuilding the same identity information.

Teams, trust and verification

Project owners can invite team members with defined roles instead of sharing an owner login. Email verification, passkeys, magic-link login, two-factor administration, audit records, moderation and account controls form the trust layer around each identity.

Domains, hosting and Discord bots

Eligible paid plans can connect domains and publish sites. Higher plans can access resource-intensive hosting products and Discord bot hosting. These services are deliberately plan-gated because they use storage, network, compute and third-party infrastructure.

Who is it for?

Ident.ink is designed for creators, founders, small businesses, online communities, software projects, products, agencies, clubs and esports organisations that need a coherent public identity and an operational place to manage it.

How is Ident.ink different?

A normal website builder focuses mainly on pages. A link-in-bio tool focuses mainly on links. A design tool focuses mainly on assets. Ident.ink connects those jobs around a persistent project identity, including permissions, verification, billing state, press data, domains and launch operations.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Ident.ink FAQ

Is Ident.ink a digital identity document?

No. Ident.ink manages public online identity and brand presence; it is not a government identity document or identity-verification authority.

Can Ident.ink build websites?

Yes. Web Studio supports website and identity-page creation, editing and publishing, subject to account and hosting-plan limits.

Does Ident.ink offer a free plan?

Yes, but it is deliberately limited to low-resource features. Hosting, bots and other resource-heavy services require eligible paid access.

Can teams use Ident.ink?

Yes. Projects support members, roles and permissions so organisations do not need to share one owner account.

Who stores payment details?

Stripe stores and processes attached payment methods. Ident.ink only receives safe identifiers and display details such as card brand and last four digits.
