A Discord server manager runs /link. The private, single-use link asks them to sign into their existing Ident.ink account and attaches only that server. No second account exists.
The install requests Administrator so permitted server-management features work without repeated reinstalls. Every moderation action still checks Discord’s own permissions, role hierarchy and target server.
IdentBot does not use Message Content or broad member-list gateway intents. It never reads ordinary conversation; it stores only records explicitly created through its commands or dashboard.
