Ascend Esports has joined the Ident Group structure under a strategic group integration agreement while retaining independent ownership and day-to-day control.

Ascend remains independently owned and retains control of its identity, roster and day-to-day esports operations. It gains access to Ident Group's technical infrastructure, development resources, security support and corporate and business capabilities.

This is not a traditional sponsorship or acquisition. It is a structure designed to give independent organisations access to wider technical and commercial resources without requiring them to surrender their identity or existing ownership.

Ascend is one of the first organisations operating under this model. Ident Group and Ascend will now work together on development, infrastructure and future commercial opportunities.
