Ident.ink 3.0 is a change in product architecture, not a larger menu.
The platform now treats a project as the shared operating record behind the work people see and the work a team performs. A public site, member access, communication, payment operations, structured data and automation can remain attached to that project instead of being rebuilt across unrelated accounts.
One clear product position
Ident.ink gives a small digital team one project for its website, people, payments and infrastructure.
The initial focus is digital-first teams that have outgrown disconnected website, chat, task, payout and developer tools but do not want enterprise software imposed on them. Ident.ink does not claim to replace every specialist product. It connects the parts that repeatedly need the same organisation, people and permission context.
Four suites, two ways to operate
Business, Esports, Creator and Developer now support a ready-made workspace and a custom operating mode. Only one mode is active for a project and suite at a time. This prevents the platform from retaining two live operating structures for one subscription while preserving inactive records if the customer switches back.
Ready-made mode provides the specialist workflow. Custom mode starts with a visual trigger, condition and action canvas, then lets the customer enable only the systems they need. Ident.ink does not create tasks, deadlines, recipients, payments or operational obligations unless an authorised project member deliberately saves them.
Business
Business connects customers, team access, work, finance, recurring contractor pay, one-off payouts, IdentDB and Business Chat around the company project. A contractor can receive a pre-priced Stripe Connect invitation, complete the processor's identity checks and enter a daily, weekly, biweekly or monthly schedule without the business handling bank credentials.
Esports
Esports connects the roster, fixture, availability, line-up, map veto, practice calendar, sponsor delivery and player payment record. The system is built around match and team operations, not repeated forms pretending to be features. Empty records are neutral and nothing is marked as a failure merely because a team does not use it.
Creator
Creator connects browser-local video and photo editing to release planning, rights evidence, sponsor work, brand assets and the public site. Source media remains on the creator's device where the editor states that it is local. Creator projects can now choose the same ready-made or custom operating model without creating another account.
Developer
Developer connects Web Studio publishing, domains, scoped IdentDB credentials, hosting and Discord bot operations to the project that owns them. Custom workflows can respond to successful publishing, team changes and database events. Reviewed API connections send bounded JSON events only and cannot download or execute code or reach internal infrastructure.
Automation without hidden authority
The workflow system uses explicit triggers, optional conditions and ordered actions. Available actions create project tasks, notes or links, update the triggering task, send an eligible project-member email or deliver a bounded event to a founder-reviewed HTTPS integration. Runs are permission checked, limited and auditable.
Project email is optional because delivery has a real marginal cost. It costs £1.50 per month for 250 automation emails, with clearly priced one-off credit packs. Founder access remains included. Core workflow execution does not require that add-on.
IdentChat without a communication paywall
IdentChat's core remains free: direct messages, spaces, text, voice, roles, permissions, moderation, bots, invites, search and user-owned media. IdentChat Plus is £4.99 per month for server-owned media configuration and paid support. IdentChat Workspace is £29 per month and connects communication to Business projects, customers, work, payroll and IdentDB.
Existing paid Ident.ink plans include Plus. Founder access remains unconditional without creating a false subscription.
What comes after 3.0
Ident.ink is researching a final specialist Community Suite for membership, events, community safety and communication on the same identity and Business Chat foundation. This is a development preview, not a released feature, paid offer or promise. Its scope and timing may change after customer validation and will appear in pricing only if it becomes genuinely available.
Legal and operational clarity
The Terms of Service and Terms of Use now state the boundary between ready-made and custom modes, the customer's responsibility to review high-impact automation, the non-advisory status of operational finance exports and the prohibition on using integrations to request code execution, local files, secrets or infrastructure control.
Stripe handles complete payment credentials and Connect identity checks. Ident.ink is not a bank, employer, payroll bureau, tax adviser or accounting system. Generated summaries must be reconciled against processors, contracts, bank records and appropriate professional advice. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
Security and release evidence
The release retains tenant-scoped project access, server-side plan and permission enforcement, MFA-aware real-time sessions, session revalidation, bounded rate windows, SSRF protections, strict input validation and auditable high-impact actions. Public billing responses no longer expose internal Stripe Price identifiers.
Before publication, the release passed the complete automated repository suite, production builds, dependency vulnerability review, database integrity verification and a live route audit. The public Transparency ledger, Trust Centre and independently served Status page remain the authoritative evidence surfaces.
