PROBABLY NOT COMING OUT FOR A WHILE
The planned 16 September Managed IdentDB and bot-hosting release is postponed while Ident.ink completes a safer, easier payment, cancellation, provisioning and handover system. Existing records remain preserved.
What is changing
We are replacing the previously planned lifecycle with a clearer system covering purchase, the temporary-service period, dedicated-server handover, cancellation notice, any genuine provider cost and the return of unused cancellation funds. The system must be understandable before payment and enforce the same rules in customer, administrator and provider workflows.
Why the date moved
The 16 September date would force a release before remote workload execution and the complete payment-to-handover path have enough production-like evidence. We would rather correct the date now than advertise readiness we cannot yet prove.
What happens now
Managed IdentDB and managed bot-hosting ordering remain in maintenance. Existing records and configuration remain preserved. No dedicated server is purchased and no maintenance order is charged. A replacement date will be published only after payment, cancellation, provisioning, workload isolation and recovery checks pass the release gate.
