Ident.ink billing now verifies the exact Stripe checkout or payment-method session before changing access, then reconciles the same state through signed Stripe webhooks.
Payments
Completed embedded checkouts are confirmed directly. A closed browser or delayed response can still recover through signed webhook reconciliation.
Payment methods
Saved methods are verified, can be made the default, and cannot be removed while an active subscription depends on them.
Subscription control
Cancellation is scheduled directly with Stripe for the end of the paid period. Customers can restore renewal before that date. Refunds remain a separate review and are never promised automatically.
Privacy and audit
Billing audit records retain operational references without copying complete provider event objects or payment details into Ident.ink.
